1. Design
Every Vitalieu lamp begins as a story. We study real architecture, symbols and references, then sculpt a form that feels timeless but still works in a modern home. The St Basil Lamp, for example, is built from the rhythm and silhouette of the cathedral's domes, simplified into a clean, sculptural shade.
2. Resin Printing
Once the design is final, we move into precision resin printing. Ultra-fine layers capture the curves and details of the lamp, creating a smooth surface that diffuses light evenly. This stage defines the sharpness of the edges, the softness of the transitions, and the overall feel of the piece in your hands.
3. Post-Processing
After printing, each shade is washed, cured and carefully finished. Support marks are cleaned, surfaces are refined and any small imperfections are corrected. This is where the lamp starts to look like a finished object rather than a raw print.
4. Testing
Before a lamp design is approved, we test it with different LED pucks and brightness levels. We check how the light spreads, how warm or cool it feels, and how the lamp behaves in real rooms – from dark bedrooms to softly lit living spaces. Only the versions that glow beautifully and safely make it to the collection.
5. Packaging
Finally, each lamp is prepared for travel. We design packaging that protects the piece without unnecessary waste.
